Get ready for a summer of kiss me quick fun as Filthy Fanny Takes it up the Pier.
The Crown and Shuttle’s enormous beer garden has been transformed into Shoreditch-on-Sea as Filthy Fanny embarks on her annual garden takeover with all things seaside. Expect drinks by the bucket and spade load, including a Margate Rita, Barry Island Iced Tea or maybe a Blackpool Donkey or two to wet your whistle. Fanny’s even added a touch of class with posh gin and tonics and spritzes to compliment her seaside specials.
With your drink in hand, and the long summer evening stretching ahead of you, food is naturally the next thing on your mind, but don’t worry, that’s covered too. Forget your Byronesque, mother flipping, gourmet street food- up the pier, Fanny has many a summer snack at her alfresco beach cafe for you to feast upon.
If you're looking for somewhere to have a long lunch, meet up with pals for post work pints, or are planning a boozy evening of excess with a large group, we're more than happy to reserve you a space. With table areas for drinks or private spaces for parties, we'll be delighted to host your group.
Christmas at The Crown and Shuttle
We know it's disgustingly early, but we're already gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year. Why not book your gang some fun festive nibbles and Christmas cocktails at the Crown, because nobody wants sweaty sprouts and a stuffy sitdown meal. We'll go above and beyond to make sure your Christmas party is the knees up of your dreams. Our events team can arrange mulled wine, a cocktail reception, a Christmas quiz, party games or anything else on your Christmas list!
For larger parties we have several spaces with private bars available for hire, including our upstairs cocktail bar and heated, covered, cosy terraces and garden grottos. Smaller groups can book more casual tables for drinks and nibbles.
